When I first started I really needed a place to vent and learn to deal with the issues I was having as a mom, wife, working woman, etc. I didn't know what to do, who to talk to. Then when I decided to blog I was nervous that I was telling too much of my business and people would look at me some kind of way.

Well I still get nervous that I'm telling too much about me, and I'm sure there are people thinking I really don't need to know all of that.. but I realize it's not for everyone, I get twice as many people cheering me on, or feeling inspired to do something themselves and that's who I do it for.

Thanks for commenting!!

Re: Just do it: Blogging that is

I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Keep blogging, and keep posting on your social media platforms, people will read even if if they don't comment. I remember having someone actually give me a call to tell me how much I related to them. I was like wow!! You read my blog? lol

Re: Just do it: Blogging that is

My fear is often that people will read it! Writing is like bearing your soul in a way. I often feel so vulnerable and then wonder what people think of it. Blogging for me is way to overcome my insecurities and just be ok with who I am! It is a wonderful thing.
www.wonderfulmess.com

Re: Just do it: Blogging that is

Thanks for this post. It's very true. When we are trying to lose weight our main goal or motivation is seeing that scale move. But sometime is doesn't move. It doesn't mean we are not getting results, it just means that we may need to be aware of what the other signs of weight loss prosperity (lol).

That goes with our business and marketing. Our main goal is to make money, and when we think that way, we put blogging on the back burner, but we fail to see the other results that let us know we are on the right track and our main goal is near.

Thanks for commenting LaTersa!!!

Re: Sweat, Losing Weight, and Business

That is great Lisa!! Found you through Mom Blogger Club and I love your blog.

My blog is Inspiring Working Moms and I have established my own Network Marketing business along with blogging and doing Soul Purpose. My purpose is to help other women get over their mental blocks and inspire them to take the tools, resources, and my experience to help them build their own business or get the promotion they need. The first few years was the same 3 conversations time-and-time-again. We, well mostly I, have learned to let some things go. I can't force him to think the way I do. When there is something important we (mostly I...lol) want to discuss I am strategic about the time and mood and I always "put some honey on it." Setting a daily routine is not difficult and when everyone is involved, then it is not hard to keep your home clean.

As a mother, we must set an example for our children. What are we teaching our children about standards? That 'good enough is good enough'. Well, that is not good enough and everyone in the household must get involve to clean up. There should not be any excuses.

Remember, cleasiness is close to Godliness.

Re: The Power of Household Chores

That's a great idea Venassa.
